first general meeting of society

Is it a mandatory to attend first general meeting of society?

Quick Summary
While attendance at a society's general meeting isn't strictly mandatory, it is highly encouraged. A quorum is essential for the meeting to proceed. Be aware that missing three or four consecutive meetings could lead to membership termination, so it's wise to check your association's bylaws for specific clauses.

It is not mandatory for a member to attend any general meeting. But it is desirable and one who does not attend could be a loser.

For general body meeting quorum is compulsory. And if a member absents for 3 or 4 consecutive meetings his membership will be terminated generally,  See your association bylaws for that clause.
