Filing of revision with delay condonation

Filing of Revision with Delay Condonation

In a criminal case The Charges were framed in Sept 2013 and the trial is scheduled for prosecution evidence? Keeping in view the lapse of 6 months, at this stage can a revision be filed against the charges or can the accused approach the High Court seeking quashing of the FIR? The prosecution evidence has not yet begun.

Pl give some case laws in support of your opinion.

If there is material irregularity adopted by lower court then only filing of revission is fruitful. The Hon'ble High Court can exercise its revissional jurisdiction for Quashing complaint in only"Exceptional" Case in order to prevent miscarriage of Justice

Revision can be filed but there should be sufficient reason for delay.

secondly filing quashing petition for quash the FIR & Chargesheet will be better if there is strong evidence in favour of accused person (s).
