Father died without making will

Hi,

My father died without making will. He born and bought up in place A and settled in place B and passed away there itself.

Ho got inhereted property in place A, but now without will we dont know to whom the said proeprty will go as per law.

If we want to transfer property on the name of our mother, how to proceed leegaly, can anybody suggest?

In absence of a will, the property devolves upon the legal heirs of the party automatically. Now who would be the legal heirs would be governed by personal law applicable, and for that tell us the religion.
