My father was not farmer by birth, but from additional income he bought agricultural land by influence or help of officers in @ 1965-70 and registered land in his mothers name as my father was government servant. later on he sold that land and purchased new land on name of my mother.we are two brothers and two sisters. but my father entered only our two brothers name in pedinama and hide sisters name. my father died three years ago and leave will that entire property in name of we brothers. my mother was ill on bed since last three years now she expired 10 days ago.
Now my question is that are we farmers, as my father was not farmer by birth.
second my sisters written to government that as we are not farmers by birth. government should take land property back as this land is agricultural land and we are not eligible for that.
Can a person become farmer as my father became as at that time there was property having no value.
