Yes you can ,you can buy land as farmer .

Presently, you can purchase property and settle down even in the erstwhile Jammu & Kashmir. So, why not in Gujarat?

You can purchase agricultural land and after registration, you have to inform the District Collector after entering into the revenue record you can start farming.
