Though it is the verdict of the Constitutional authoritative pronouncements that the Tahasildar or Mandal Revenue officer is not competent legal heir certificate or the family member certificate the courts are insisting the same for numbering a petition filed for succession certificate. is it correct? i could not get the judgment on this aspect. can you give me the same.

The certficate issued by the Mandal Revenue officer or Tahasildar is not succession certificate it is survivors certificate. If you want succession certificate only civil courts have got jurisdiction. The certificate issued by the Manda Revenue Officer or Tahasildar can be produced /relied, but it is not necessary to produce or it is mandatory.
