family issue

dear all
my wife has been separate from me for 1year, i have tried to call her back but did not respond.
in current situation i have no contact other than I writing letters for which there is no response.
is it wise decision to go head and file for divorce or should wait for some more time
kindly suggest.

Hi Mr. Sanneboina,

I advise you to issue her a legal notice and file a petition for restitution of conjugal rights in the court. If you try to get a decree in your favour, it will be useful for you later on to establish her desertion.

As far as your question is concerned, your wife should have been 2 years away from you by the time of filing of divorce on the ground of desertion.
