Girl’s mother has filed false domestic violence case in Kanpur and demanding a flat worth Rs 15 Lakhs in Kanpur, 5Lakhs for mental harassment and Rs50 thousand per month as their maintenance.
She has named my father (who passed away recently), mother and my elder sister who is married from last 13 years and living in Delhi.
Can we request to transfer this false Domestic Violence case to Ghaziabad where already 498a is going on?

May I know why? These people filed a complaint in Gurgaon first then in Ghaziabad and now in Kanpur. Why the case cant be transfered from on district to another????

I just heard that for filing domestic violence a woman has to be in the matrimony home for 6 months. Is it correct?

No DV can fill any time Bcz Its a pvt. case no.
and 498A can not filed after 7 years of Marriage
