Can we acquire details about our SIL's Pan card through RTI? She has given us a photocopy of her PAN card as a proof of age for Arya Samaj wedding. But on checking through incometax website we came to know that her age is 5 yrs more than what she claims and she also has a middle name...
Can we get information in such a case through RTI? we need a certified copy to file for a divorce and a criminal case...

well since PAN card is a private document, i dont think the department will give the same to u in the form of certified copy; moreover u can call for the record through the process of the court i.e. the summons issued to IT department for production of record.
