fail to take action against official who last public recods

in a govt office, a clerk lost the file. inspite complaint, his head of office failed to book fir under section 9 of karnataka public record act 2010. whether head of the office is liable to be booked. if yes which is the section.. kindly tell. 🙏

If you are affected by this negligent act of the employeee, you can give a complaint to the police as well as to the head of the department in this regard or can file a writ petition against the HOD for his careless attitude as well as for not taking proper action against the employee.
