Expediting of civil cases

The defendants already admitted before the Income Tax department they have not purchased the suit properties all are purchased from my account with all cheques details, but captured all 6  properties since 2022. I submitted the Chamber summon for dedree on Admission undr order 12 rule 6. the dindoshi civil court since more than two year just giving dates, and the recoveries of rents from captured properties are not possible

Quick Summary
This discussion addresses the significant delays experienced in civil cases, even when defendants have admitted to property purchases. The user has filed for a decree on admission but the court has been granting dates for over two years without progress. Advice suggests approaching the High Court with a writ of mandamus to compel the trial court to expedite the case and ensure timely resolution.

If there's an inordinate delay without any valid reason then you can approach high court with a petition seeking direction to trial court to dispose the matter expeditiously.

File a writ of mandamus (under Article 227 of the Constitution of India) before High Court seeking directions to expedite the case.
