Ours is a small web development company (working with computers) 15 employees, to whom we are paying Health Insurance about Two lakhs (Rs.2,00,000) per year per employee. We are giving the facility them for the last 3 years. Is the ESI registration is mandatory for our employees inspite of our extending the above Health insurance policies.
The second clarification is : in case if it is mandatory, can we ignore the last 3 years for which we paid health insurances to the employees, and we can start from this month onwards giving ESIC to the employees...?
