I have a Form-B Property Register Extract (B-Khata) from BBMP for my property with house. However when I am about to sell it, the prospective purchaser noticed an error on the Khata certificate that the site dimension is mentioned as 51 X 30 = 1350 S FT instead of 51 X 30 = 1530 S FT. Though the Khata carries this clerical mistake the Sale deed has the correct numbers.
What needs to be done in order to rectify it? or Is it necessary to rectify? Please guide me.
