Dear Mr. Ratan,

Such acts comes under in sec 447 of ipc, 1860 which states penalty for enroachment by giving three months imprisonment and levies fine of Rs. 500 or both.

Initially one can do, is to file a complaint to his local municipality against the accused for such acts and causing damages as well.

One can make a police complaint under MRTP act as well.

Dear Archana, could you share a few more details?

Dear Anaita,

As I have already explained earlier about the enroachment rules however MRTP (Maharashtra Regional Town Planning act) will fit only for the Maharashtra cases.
