Employement bond related

i have signed a employement bond with company by giving a blank cheque and 20 rupees notary form for 2 years for an amount of 2 lakhs but now due to my medical issue i would like to break that bond withoyt paying for that i stopped the cheque in bank, if i skip in payment of bond amout is their any criminal or civil offence

Hello,

If you break the employment terms and conditions then they will take legal action against you. They may file criminal cases and civil recovery suits on the basis of the employment contract.

same time people are saying employement bonds are illegal, can you please suggest me how to hnadle this
