I am ready with 5 eBooks. Now I want to give permission to one company XYZ for selling. Please tell me what are the exact legal steps I need to follow without losing my authorship.

Apply for Copyright immediately.

If I do it immediately, the whole things will be disclosed immediately. Any different approach?

You will be the first to disclose to the copyright office. The protection starts from the time you disclose to the copyright office.Hence you need not worry regarding disclosure.
