Matrimonial home is where the petitioner last resided with her husband and her in laws, if any.

For matrimonial Home pls see judgment of S.R. Batra vs taruna Batra 2007 !

Matrimonial home is what my ld. friends suggested in a broader sense.

Shelter home is the residential place maintained by the State (generally social welfare department) to provide shelter to destitute women.  In local hindi language it is called "nari niketan".

As far as supreme court is concern shared household includes a household where the person aggrieved lives or at any stage had lived in a domestic relationship
