In all probabilities these callers are recovery agencies posing as lawyers, police officials etc and what they quote at the most is file number created by the agency of company.

If any case is filed in court the court shall issue the summons.

Court does not call on phone.

Record al such calls and lodge police/criminal complaint with police.

All users should unite.

Let us assume that it is some lawyer indulging in illegal, unlawful unfair practices then it is better that his license is yanked.

Let us assume that it is some policeman indulging in illegal, unlawful unfair practices then it is better that his employment is dismissed.

Later companies do apologize and claim that some agent/agency indulged in impersonation.

GOOD NEWS FOR ALL CONSUMERS OF MOBILE COMPANIES.

 Central Govt Ministry of Telecom has made it clear that SUPREME COURT Judgement dated 1st Sep 2009 is not applicable to private teleom companies .

All these companies were harassing consumers by filing arbitration cases at far away places and getting exparte awards.

Now by this statement of the Central Govt the doors of Consumer courts have been opened for all customers of private telecom companies.

Any consumer facing harassment  by private mobile service providers can approach local consumer courts for relief.

GOOD NEWS FOR ALL CONSUMERS OF MOBILE COMPANIES.

 So if you are getting calls from such companies , please ask them for copy of any such order against you and copy of the agreement and approach local consumer court for stay / relief and compensation for harassment.
