Doubt in boundaries mentioned in sale deed

Hi,

We are about to buy a land (Site no 14 & 15), which is a West facing site. The boundaries for the site nos 14 an 15 are mentioned as follows :

North by : Site No. 13

South by : Site No.16

East by : 23 feet south-north layout road

West by : Site no 4,5

I feel like the directions are interchanged because from the site nos 14 and 15 , the site no 13 is in south and 16 is in north.

I have attached the sample map also with this. Please tell me whether the mentioned directions are right or wrong.

You can get the site map with boundaries by City Town Planning Office and you can check with your map.

Sir,

Actually I have the site map. Also I have attached the similar drawing.

My doubt is Site No. 13 is actually in the south direction of site No. 14. But in the sale deed its mentioned as North by Site No. 13

Your observation is correct. The boundary direction of Plot 16 and 13 have wrongly been shown in an interchanged manner. But While getting your sale deed, better get the boundaries properly defined. There should not be any problem, especially when the plot whch you are buying is clearly marked.
