Dont want to sell property

I have an agreement on rs 100 stamp paper to sell my plot on 12th may 2017, but now i am not interested due to family problem reason. They have not notarised or registered the agreement.....so can i cancel the agreement.....total value of property is rs 900000. The last date mentioned for purchase is 15th aug 2017......plz guide

the purchaser can file suit for specific performance against you for registration of property or you might have to return double the amount recieved as advance but above observation depends on agreement which is not available.

if above terms are mentioned think again......

As written by you signed Agreement to Sell and received earnest amount and now you changed your mind to perform your part of obligation this will harm right of purchaser so buyer has right to enforce the contract by filling suit against you. You can mutually close this deal or by court of Law.
