does maintenance amt cover food, clothing & shelter

What is the definition of maintainence in legal terms, with respect to 125, hma 24, dv , and All other terms related to maintainence. my moot question is, whatever maintenance that is paid, does it cover food clothing and shelter. If yes, then why is more maintainence given in dv case for shelter too, when previously maintenance already passed in hma 24 or 125? e thanks

Interim or under 125 or under DV whatever you pay as maintenance covers food clothing shelter, unless your wife considers such money you pay as pocket money to go watch movies ;-))
