The document of will comes into force after the death of the executor.  So, modifications or corrections in the will are ruled out.  Possession, link documents help in making mutations..  

The government should enact a comprehensive new survey act replacing the 1923 Act in vogue and constitute a dispute redressal mechanism like tribunals for taking cognizance of the objections raised by the land owners on fixing of boundaries so that they could be resolved expeditiously. The replacement of the old legislation was mandatory as it reportedly has several lacunae that need to be rectified for taking up a fool-proof survey of the lands.

Conduct of survey alone is not suffice. The government should take up settlement simultaneously so that the consent of land owners for the boundaries fixed through the survey is obtained. 

@Ramachari Rachakonda:  :  Can not the District Legal Services Authority grant an award only if there is consent on the boundaries by the landowners?   Is there really a need ?   Is it possible for the Government for such an enactment and constituting a redressal mechanism like tribunals practical, when thousands of vacancies in existing commissions/courts are not filled for several years?
