Dob certificate modification in karnataka

Hi,

My DOB is 12-11-1989,

As i am going to apply for passport, Is Date of birth certificate is compulsory ??

If so, I my DOB certifate having some errors. So How I can apply for modification.

Please help me regarding this..

Your S.S.C. marks certificte is base for the passport. But Birth certificate also must for born from the year 1989. so obtain birth certificate from the municipal office. Both the birth dates must be equal. If there is any difference you have to file a petition in the court for declaration order.
