Divorce Trial please help PIP party i person

divorce was filled by wife at MYSORE Bangalore.

question 1-is there any way if both lawyer and respondent himself both of them will get opportunities to cross examination pitioner???

please guide the steps.

or only option I have to go PIP in person.?

questions 2-if I opted for PIP , then post Cross examination of wife, will I get opportunities to add lawyer in my case?

Quick Summary
This discussion addresses a common query regarding cross-examination in divorce proceedings, particularly when the respondent is initially representing themselves (Party in Person or PIP). The core question is whether both the respondent and their lawyer can cross-examine the petitioner. The consensus and suggested strategy is that while courts generally don't allow simultaneous cross-examination by both, a tactical approach can be employed. This involves the respondent conducting their cross-examination initially, requesting an adjournment, and then having their lawyer formally take over the cross-examination on a subsequent date.

Yourself and your Advocate cannot simultaneously cross examine your  wife. You can cross examine your wife if you so desire and at a later point of time can seek the assistance of your Advocate
