Divorce - Converted to Christianity

A Hindu girl was converted to Christianity for marriage. She accepted Christianity & completed the learning, baptism & all the relevant rituals in 3 months for marriage. Before marriage, she found out about issues with the man & broke engagement 3 times. The groom family took advantage of her emotions, did all the drama & pulled her back into marriage every time. Post marriage, man s*xually & physically abused the girl & she left him in 20 days. It's 1 year 3 months, she is fighting for justice.
What is the way out & what all sections will apply in such case.?

By simply knowing the law, a common man can not do anything.

The only way is meeting a Women's Voluntary organization or Legal Services Authority or a local understanding advocate, as you require remedy and in the process, you will be learning.

Hello,

If atrocities are caused after marriage then a woman can file domestic violence cases and also file cases against other relevant sections of IPC against husband and in-laws. Further, she can also file a divorce case against husband.

In any marriage, divorce could be sought on grounds of cruelty. However, the facts posted are too vague to suggest an action based on marital cruelty.
