Hi,
I m anuragita here, I got married to a US Citizen in india, he came to india for marriage and our marriage has been registered in india, but as he threatened me always, he tried to cancel my visa too. now he has filed diorce from US and attorney has gien me 35 days of time period to reply otherwise he will get divorce from there. what kind of legal help i can get from there and india.

The marriage is registered at India and He is torturing u frm US, file a suite against him at Nearest Civil Court/Metro Politan Court with consultation of a Advocate Immediately Aa per ur convinence of Sec 9 Hindu Marriage Act For Restitution Or As per ur wish Divorce in section 13.
And Also inform the Indian Embacy regarding this offence file 498A too.
1st Try to negotiate if not possible Do what ever u can to attach their property too.
Be carefull about ur security if wish to visit US.
