Sir

No one can tell how much time it will take.

But, as it is MCD, chances are it would take less time than a contested divorce case. As yours is a CDC, you may be charged a minumum of Rs. 500/- not exceeding Rs. 2000/- as per Rule 10(13) of Legal Practitioners' Fees' Rules, 1973.

You can reach me at: basu_kunal@hotmail.com for redressal of any further legal queries regards your case.

Thanks & regards

You cannot file for an MCD before one year of separation.  Even if you mention that you separated immediately after marriage, you cannot file before November, 2018. It would take anywhere between 6 to 18 months depending on the compliances to be carried out.  No waiving off the cooling period in your case.
