Divorce

Respected all My husband has issued me notice for mutual divorce of which he wants as he has some partner n he doesnot want to give anythibg in alimony. I have not answered till now but he is forcing me to sign. He is an Nri my question is what can he do next as he told he can disown us n fle away where v cannot trace hi8 from last 7 years he has desrted me n my two kids now they are major . Thanks in advance for the guidance

file complaint against him under 498 a cruelity on grounds of desertion and maintainace and ask court to seize his passport

if your husband is NRI, & living out of country from last 5 years them he must now have citizenship of other country. you can try running around courts, there might be some possibility that court can bring him down but its not very easy. if he got other country citizenship then it his indian passport seizure will not help you at all.
