Divorce

Dear ALL EXPERT

A DIVORCE CASE has been accepted by the court ex parte filed by my friend.

The court has not ordered to send a copy to respondent for information.

60 days has been passed awarding the decree.

It is learnt that limitation period of appeal is 90 days.

Please guide it starts from the date of order or when it came to the knowledge of the respondent.

Thanks

regards

90 days period is for filling appeal against the order of divorce by the trail family court. The setting aside exparte decree of divorce can even be filled in the same trail family court by the respondent but she has to show and prove what kept her away from defending the divorce petition that got decided exparte.
