Dispute resolution process

can u please explain the dispute resolution process under payment of gratuity act, 1972.

Under The Payment of Gratuity Act, Controlling Authority apponted under this Act is the right person to resolve the disputes. Basically the dispute is on these points-

1- date of appointment

2- date of termination/ death/ super annuation/ end of employer-employee relationship

3- length of sevice

4- last pay drawn

5- whether employment admitted or not.

The applicability of the Act also becomes a major issue. I worked as a controlling authority under the Act for 5 years. Delay in filing, last wages drawn etc comes into discussions.
