Dishonour of cheque _ Compromise/ settlement _ Lok Adalat _ Imposing of costs_ Applicability of guidelines of Apex Court in the case of Damodar S. Prabhu (2010 (10) LJSOFT (SC) 148) containing the schedule of costs _ Court had made it clear that framing of the said guidelines did not amount to judicial legislation _ Where the case has to be decided/settled in the Lok Adalat, if the Court finds that it is a result of positive attitude of the parties, in such appropriate cases, the Court can always reduce the costs by imposing minimal costs or even waive the same. Mr Sanjeev you are giving very good citations but it is not possible to open your site and get the whole citaions.

 

You can give either name of parties or post the Judgements so it will help all.

For logging in the site you are required to fill up a small registration form. For email verification generally users check onlu their inbox where you are also required to also check the junk folder/ Spam folder. Once you are successfully registered you may login and go to Search Judgments and then Citation wise search.
