Dear Sir,
I have recently joined an organisation and they are giving different weekly offs to their employees. Is this legally justified and allowed under Factories Act? Please give me advice in this regard.

if there are different group of employee and from that a maintinace group getting wednessday off where as others are getting weekly off as usual , is it justified in the eye of law

Dear Sir,
I mean to say that some employees are getting Sunday as weekly off some are getting Monday and likewise different days. Is it legally permissible?

yes, it is justified in factories act. the employer can fix deferent weekly off for its employee for its smooth functioning but can not take more 49 hours working in week continuously .

i mean 48 hours in week 49 has wrongly typed.
