Hello!
If one has registered two service catigory under a same registration Number, Is it essencial to file different return for different catigoy?
If there is no business in current period under one of the catigory is it necessary to file another nil return for that perticular catigory?
can any one help me in relation to the above mention point?

Yes a nil return has to be filed

If you are registered with more than one service under same registeration number then it is necessary you to file the separate return for each services and the consolidated ( clubbing of all services) service tax return to the dpartement.
