different name in my educational documents and IDs

I have different names in my educational documents and IDs. In my marksheets, I simply have XY but on some IDs and on the caste certificate, I have Kumar in between XY (X Kumar Y). Will it cause any problem if I get a government job?

You can give an affidavit of same person.

1. You would need to conduct Name Change Procedures via a Govt. Gazette Publication, by following due procedures of law. The Govt. Gazette publication would have to be produced every time where ever needed in future. There is no other legal alternative.

Yes. You should apply to the Government through the Tahsildar (Revenue Authority of your area) concerned in a prescribed form. You shall give a Notarized declaration for the change of your name. You shall submit this with the application.
