I have constrcted my house in 1986 after plan approved from municipal committee fatehabad (now upgraded to municipal council). All the charges as demanded were deposited. Now a new notice has been received to all properties holders regarding development charges @ 750/- per sequre yard. I want to know wheather it is legal and payable. my email is kanwarbhan1955@gmail.com

Dear Mr. Kanwar,
It's legal charges that need to be paid as a development charges such as maintainence of sewer, water tanks, community centers and for parks etc.
