Dear patel,
Yes, u can open any no of demat a/c's , a demat a/c is just like a Bank a/c. You just will have to fullfill the KYC(know ur customer) norms of the bank.

A person can have one demat account in his own name in a particular DP but he may have one demat account in multiple DP
Member Strength 9,47,460 and growing..
