shrikant v. sathe (retired)     18 May 2012

Delay by advocate for admitting writ in highcourt

We,the 26 retired employees of co-op. bank have lodged writ petition in Aurangabad high court. When we approached the advpcate he told us that he will solve this case within 1 year .The case was like this  bank had retired us at the age of 55 instead of 58.When the age of retirement for officers was 58 bank had abruptly made it 55 in 2003,with back effect. Now the present condition is advocate always tells us that he will take the circulation and he does not take it,and th reason he gives that board is not smooth.Hence he is prolonging the case for 1/1/2 years.Only notices has been sent to bank, but the case is on pre adm. status. May we take any suspect on advocate for delyaing the case.May he be managed by the bank internally? Banks are expert to negotiate.

Argue out  the case before the Bench where the case will be listed. It is at the motion stage and if propely argued the could may admit and issue notices.
