Define a Complaint. Can anybody post a standard format of criminal complaint?

Please give more details ... like complaint under what sections or for what offence.

As per definition of IPC, 'commission or ommission to do any (legal) act' is an offence.

Complaint — There is no particular format of a complaint — Petition addressed to the magistrate, containing allegation that an offence has been committed and ending with prayer that the culprits be suitably dealt with, is a complaint.
