Defamation suit (different states)

Dear Sir,

A person cheated us, and later defamed us by printing an article in a magazine....which can be taken as a proof to file defamation suit. But i am confused since the person is from Delhi and i am from mumbai, and the magazine was published in delhi................where should i file the case,  delhi or mumbai?  since i am from mumbai, i prefer to file it in mumbai..............

PLEASE ADVISE....
