I live in Canada, My father passed away in india in 1994 in Malviya Nagar New Delhi.
Does anyone know where and how I can obtain a copy of his Death Certificate?

Malavya Nagar New Delhi Local self government and the officer in charge as Birth and Death Registrar will issue you a certificate. If it is not reported to him then start from A. Inform him with a certifictae etc.

you might have got a receipt for cremation of your father, so based on that you can get the death certificate from the concerned officer

I was not present when he passed away. My brothers took care of the matter. When I asked for the certificate, they said they lost it.
