IF AN ELECTRICITY BOARD INSTALLS AN ELECTRIC TRANSFORMER BY OBSTRUCTING THE  ENTRANCE OF AN HOUSE PREMISES,BY DOING SO THE ENTRANCE WOULD BE OBSTRUCTED TO THE FULLEST EXTENT.

SEEKING AN TEMPORARY INJUCTION BY FILING AN SUIT IN APPROPRIATE COURTS THE WORKS HAVE BEEN STOPPED. AT THIS JUNCTURE I WANT TO FIND CASELAWS AND OTHERMATTERS REGARDING THIS PROBLEM.

i want to know case laws regarding section 2(q) i.e 'Respondents' of the protection of woman from domestic violence act. i want to know that as per defination of respondents whether any female members of the husbands family can be made respondaents or not?

ashok kumar (advocate)     21 March 2009

yes . Act must be read as whole. sec 2 q proviso clause

reads as under

provided that an aggrieved wife or female ............file a complaint against against a relative of the husband or the male partner"

again plz read sec 2f domestic relation ship

these sections reveal that females can be arrayed as respondent if they have committed domestic violence
