daughter's right of property

My grand father (he is no more)distributed his property in 1964 to his two sons by writing on the paper(without registration) leaving his daughter who had already married by that time and she had been given property of whatever by name dowry . In this scenario, it is to be mentioned that my grand father 3.5 cents of dry land adjacent to wet land belonging to him was not distributed to his children. Now my question is whether the sister of my father can claim for the land which was still to be distributed among the children of my grand father

Yes, your aunt ( father's sister ) has right to get the share in the property left by her father without executing will so better settle the issue amicably.

Try to compromise with her legally as per law .
