Daughter percentage on fathers property

Hi,

Can some one tell how much percentage of property goes to daughter after fathers death.

Recenty my grandfather died and gradmother is alive.

Sons had sold out only property was house, So how much percentage goes to daughters.

if the father had died intestate then the daughter is entitled to get equal share in both the ansestral as well as self aquired property along with all the legal heirs.if he had written a will for his self aquired property then it would devolve according to the will only.

As per Hindu law, the daughters will get equal share out of the intestate properties left behind by their fathers.

as per hindu succession act daughter has equal share as all hairs of deasead person,ie wife,son,daughters will get equal share in his all self aquired and ancestraal property.

you can file a civil suit for stay and division of propery ( house) to civil court, if brother sale our the property than purchaser also a necessory party in this case.
