my mom is born on 1953... can she file case against to get her father property....

my mother bor on year 1958 and she is 5th child of her father. After she married and even after her father death she has not recived any property from her father. so I want to know if my mother is eligible to get property of her father or not

Section 6A of Hindu Succession (Amendment) Act, 2005 is applicable retrospectively as prononced by Apex Court.

Your mother is legal heir to the property, if any, left intestate by her father. She has the option to file a suit for partition.
