Dasti summon

helo to all , In my appeal against an manitenance order at allahabad high court I was directed by hon. court serve the respondents outside the Court through registered post as well as by dasti summons. I want to know from all of you , what dasti summons mean ? please share information regarding dasti summon. thanks

That means , you have to take steps to send the summons to opposite party, through registered post and also by hand.

Dasti summons means , serve the notice to the opposite party by hand

one thing more I want to know for dasti summon , do I need to deposit some sort fee .

If yes , how much ?

In dasti summon, it is only summon serving expenses to be met, nothing else. Dont be misguided by some greedy lawyers/court staff with such misleading information and pay them for nothing. Flatly refuse to deposit or you can inform them that you will do directly before the judge in the open court.
