CSS leave rules

If I am an government official and on probation, and go on leave without sanction and take part in lets say Civil Services exam, I will be liable for departmental action from my current department, thats for sure, but will I face any problems due to that if I get selected in the civil service? Will I be liable for any action there? Considering both cases- whether my present department takes any action against me or not.

absence without leave can be cause of dismissal from service.

I don't believe that's the answer to my question sir..I have already stated in my query that I am liable for disciplinary action if I remain absent without leave. What I really want to know is whether I am liable for any disciplinary action in my new selection..

congnisance of any misconduct while in service of any deptt can be taken by any deptt while anytime in service.
