CrPC-125, 498A & Perjury

So far proceedings under section 125 pl refer section 126(1) i.e (1) proceedings under section 125 may be taken against any person in any district- (a) Where he is, or (b) Where he or his wife resides, or (c) Where he last resided with his wife or as the case may be with the mother with the illegitimate child...

so far perjury is concern, refer (2001) 1 SCC 253

1 Member of Parliament of Odisha had filed  false Affidavit on his property In Election-2009 by hiding 3plots costing around 8-Crores Govt record shows "LAND-PATA" in his mothers name. He Is Very Close To Chief Minister Mr.Naveen Pattanaik.
