CRPC 125

While cross examining my wife at Exam-in-chief , I wish to place some documents as Exhibits on record . Please tell whether I have to give numbers of Exhibits myself ( like it is done while submitting Annexures ) or is it the court which numbers the EXHIBITS itself ?

How would a respondent normally name the Exhibits ( Is Exhibit R-1 , R-2 , so on ... acceptable or not ) .

What precaution should I take so that the documents are indeed placed on record as Exhibits .

any document filed and marked before court will be under the judicial custody.
