CAN ANY BODY TELL ME ABOUT THE NEW LAW WHERE POLICE ARE INSTRUCTED NOT TO ARREST AN OFFENDER WHO HAD COMMITTED A CRIME  WHOSE PUNISHMENT IS LESS THAN 7 YEARS.DO YOU THINK THIS LAW IS A VALID ONE

in my opinion there is no such law exist at present in India. any offence where the punishment is provided 3 years and more, police can arrest the accused without warrent.

 This proposed  amendment is yet to be implemented in Crpc.
