Court fees for probate against a will

Hello all,

My aunt had executed an will on me. She had expired in Nov'14 and as per will i am the sole owner of all her immovable properties (she and my uncle do not have a child).

Please let me know what is the process that i should follow to change the property ownership to my name and also the court fees/stamp duty required. I am in Salt lake, West Bengal.

Thanx in advance

Hi

it depends on the value of property. it will be any where between 2% of value of property up to 7% of value of property.

please approach a lawyer nearest to you.

Every state has different rates for property matters.  Find a broker or an advocate in Kolkatta, who can help you
